Henryk
Machine Learning Engineer at BrainPad
I’m a University of Tokyo graduate who transitioned from mineral processing into machine learning engineering. Coming from a non-CS background, I understand the challenges of breaking into AI. I help aspiring AI and ML engineers sharpen their resumes, explain their projects clearly, and prepare for technical and behavioral interviews, with practical feedback and a plan tailored to their goals.

About Me
Hi, I’m Henryk, a Machine Learning Engineer and University of Tokyo graduate. I transitioned from mineral processing into computational biology and machine learning through independent study and graduate research. My experience includes using large language models to improve annotation guidelines, building document-based AI assistants, and collaborating on Kaggle competitions.
Coming from a non-CS background and having navigated Japan’s graduate recruitment process, I understand how difficult it can be to decide what to learn, build relevant experience, and communicate your strengths to employers. I can help you with:
1. Resume and application reviews: Highlight your contributions and connect your experience to your target role.
2. Project storytelling: Explain the problem, your technical decisions, your individual contribution, and what you learned.
3. Mock interviews: Practice technical and behavioral questions, with specific feedback on your reasoning, answer structure, and clarity.
My approach is collaborative and practical. We’ll work from your actual materials, identify gaps, and turn feedback into concrete next steps that fit your background and goals.
